Why don't I hear my preferred voice?

That is a great question!

When Dwell plays an audio track, it attempts to choose from the voice(s) you've selected in your voice settings. Sometimes a voice isn't available for a specific track (for example, not all voices have recorded all of scripture yet). When your preferred voice can't be found, Dwell falls back to a random voice.

👉 Good news! You can choose the voice options your Dwell account picks on Random. From the home page of the app, click the gearshift in the upper left hand corner. Click "Version and Voice Preferences". User the slider next to each voice to turn on what you want to hear (it will light up link once it's turned on). Click "Done"

Choose what you'd like to hear from the Bible. Click on the pill icon that displays the current voice and version. Scroll to the bottom of your list and choose "Random"
